Noteworthy Champagnes and Sparkling Wines from Parcelle:
- Alfredo Maestro, Perdigon Pét Nat Rosé Método Ancestral 2019 – First of all who doesn’t love a good Pét Nat? If you haven’t tried tried one yet, you are in for a real treat! They are light, refreshing and spritzy! This one is organic and natural with its grapes grown near the Mediterranean, right outside of Madrid. Give this funky wine a shot; you will not be disappointed.
- Raventós i Blanc, Cava Rosé de Nit – Cava is Spain’s sparkling wine and according to Parcelle, Raventós is the best in the region. This wine is elegant, dry, light bodied and well balanced with flavors red fruit and citrus that gives way to a nice finish.
- Pierre Péters, Cuvée Réserve Blanc de Blancs NV – Produced in one of the original grower champagne houses. This wine is crisp, smooth, dry and plenty bubbly, with flavors of pear, green apple and citrus.
- Sorro, Prosecco Treviso Brut NV – Prosecco is Italy’s response to Champagne and Cava. Sorro is a small grower in Treviso. They are a small grower that produces high quality Prosecco. This wine is crisp, well balanced, light and dry with flavors of green apples and peach.
- Laherte Fréres, Rose de Meunier Champagne – Unique rosé Champagne made of organic Pinot Meunier, 60% Meunier vinified off the skins, 30% saignée and 10% still red wine. Lovely, crisp wine with great acidity and flavors of tart cranberry, raspberry and citrus.
- Scribe, Riesling Pet Nat 2020 – Scribe is a small winery in California started by two brothers. Apparently the brothers are really good at living life and there is always a party at the vineyard. So, they make wines that are meant for living your best life. This wine is dry and acidic with flavors of white peach, pear and lemon.
