So, we are going to share some of our favorite summer sips, with an emphasis on our favorite Rosé options, both sparkling and still. We will also be listing off some of our other favorite summer sips as well!
Rosé Wines:
Wölffer Estate Summer in a Bottle Rosé is a wonderful summer rosé, obviously, as the name is Summer in a Bottle Rosé. It is perfectly crisp and refreshing, medium bodied and dry with hints of strawberry and grapefruit. About $25.
Chateau Minuty Prestige Rosé is light bodied and fresh with flavors of white peach and orange. It is delicate and refreshing with a dry finish. About $20.
Flowers Rosé is balanced and fresh with great acidity with flavors of watermelon, grapefruit and strawberry making it an excellent sip on a hot day! About $20.
Côte des Roses Rosé is an excellent, easy to find summer rosé. It is an excellent value and easy drink, with hints of peach and strawberry. It is smooth and well balanced; perfectly refreshing for a sunny day! About $15.
Whispering Angel Rosé is dry, light and delightful. I read an article once that said Whispering Angel should be credited with starting the international rosé trend and I can see why! About $15.
AIX Rosé is a refreshing summer rosé that drinks easily all day long. Juicy acidity, crisp freshness with a light to medium body and hints of red berries. About $16.
Sparkling Rosé Wines:
Schramsberg Brut Rosé is a well balanced, light and crisp. Flavors of strawberry, raspberry and peach. Excellent. Around $35.
J Vineyards Sparkling Rose is light, refreshing and smooth, fizzy rosé from California with a crisp finish. Great value! Around $30.
Gruet Brut Rose has been my go to sparkling rosé to keep in the house lately. For the price, you cannot beat this bottle! It is light and refreshing, with a hint of strawberries; give it a shot! Around $12.
Mumm Napa Brut Rose is a lovely sparkling option. It is crisp and refreshing, perfect for a hot summer afternoon! Around $15.
Sparkling White/Champagne:
Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs Brut is a wonderful sparkling wine from California. A friend recommended this to me about a year ago and I have never been disappointed. This bottle is perfectly crisp and super easy to drink! About $30.
Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Champagne Blue Label is clean, crisp and well balanced! It is wonderfully refreshing and perfectly effervescent. For the price of this champagne, you cannot beat it! About $34.
Mailly Brut Réserve Champange Grand Cru is a crowd pleaser! It is crispy, dry and bold with an aftertaste of mild cherry! About $40.
White Wines:
Craggy Range Sauvignon Blanc is absolutely delicious and may be my favorite Sauvignon Blanc to date. It is light and dry with hints of citrus and honeydew. The acidity is perfectly balanced and the finish is smooth. Give this one a shot! About $19.
Pascal Jolivet Sancerre is a great summer wine option. It is light and crisp, yet remains extremely flavorful and well balanced. I actually found this wine at the airport on my way out of town the other night. Will definitely repurchase! About $25.
Domaine Drouhin Vaudon Chablis is produced in the northernmost wine growing region in Burgundy. This region produces dry white wines made from Chardonnay. This wine is fresh and vibrant with notes of citrus and green apple. About $25.
Aveleda Vinho Verde is crispy and juicy and perfect for a hot summer day! I tried Vinho Verde for the first time when I was in Portugal and I fell in love. If you have never tried a vinho verde this is a great place to start. About $7.
Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio Alto Adige is consistently delicious. It is crisp, refreshing and perfectly balanced. Perfectly dry with hints of citrus and apple. Wonderful summer sip. About $17.
