Rosé Wines:
- Ameztoi, Txakolina Rosé 2020 – We had this wine the other night when we were eating dinner in Denver at Cart + Driver! It is a super effervescent and easy to drink Rosé from the Basque Region of Spain. Perfectly refreshing with notes of strawberries, watermelon and citrus.
- La Fête du Rosé, Côtes de Provence St. Tropez 2019 – La Fête du Rosé is the first black owned winery in Provence. This is an excellent Rosé. It is soft with a medium body, dry, but fruit forward to balance the refreshing acidity. Perfect rosé to sip all summer long! Also, their profits go to underprivileged youths across the globe – how awesome is that?!
Natural Wines:
- Alfredo Maestro, Perdigon Pét Nat Rosé – First of all who doesn’t love a good Pét Nat? If you haven’t tried tried one yet, you are in for a real treat! They are light, refreshing and spritzy! This one is organic and natural with its grapes grown near the Mediterranean, right outside of Madrid. Give this funky wine a shot; you will not be disappointed.
- 4 Monos, Tinto 2019 – This winery was started by four people who met while hiking in Spain. Now, they make wines from remote mountain vineyards together. This wine is lively, light and refreshing, mostly made of grenacha.
White Wines:
- West County, California Chardonnay 2018 – This chardonnay is from the Russian River Valley, which is a cooler part of California. Due to the lower temperatures in the region, Chardonnays produced there are usually more acidic. Notes of citrus, honey and lemon with a lengthy finish.
- Guido Marsella, Fiano di Avellino 2018 – Guido Marsella established his estate in the Campania region of Southern Italy in 1995. He has 10 hectares of vines planted in volcanic soils. A refreshing wine with notes of melon and citrus.
Red Wines:
- Julien Sunier, ‘Wild Soul’ Beaujolais-Villages 2019 – This medium-bodied Beaujolais is fruit forward with flavors of cherries, raspberries, and strawberries. The perfect red to sip during the summer. Recommend serving chilled.
- No Fine Print, Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 – This Cab is made by two friends who met in the music industry. 80% Lodi Cabernet, 10% Lodi Merlot, 10% Lodi Petite Sirah. This is a smooth, well balanced Cab that can be enjoyed year round!
